What A Place for Bethany provides for its residents and attendants.
Aysia’s Corner Resource Center
A Place for Bethany houses Aysia’s Corner, a resource center for special needs adults’ caretakers and loved ones. We strive to best ensure everyone has adequate support.
Aysia’s Corner offers a wide variety of services. Written material may be available including pamphlets, books, or informational videos. Updates and announcements will be posted concerning workshops, events, and conferences. At Aysia’s Corner you may even be connected with referrals for various needs including autism friendly hair care, adaptive clothing vendors, or a medical resource network.
Day Programs
Day programs will be run weekedays Monday through Friday, from 9am-3pm, with after care available until 6pm. Within the day program itself, an established curriculum will be adapted to best meet the needs of each individual in our care.
Educational Services
Within the day program at A Place for Bethany, an established curriculum will be adapted to best meet the needs of each individual in our care. This curriculum will include enrichment activities, which may include trying new crafts, meeting new people, or even visiting new environments in a controlled safe space.
Residential Homes
Residential personal care homes will be run, each unit with approximately 3 live-in residents, fully equipped with a 24/7 care staff who are all MediCare certified and trained.
Vocational Development
Vocational screening, training, and guided workplace assistance will be offered. In our vocational facility, our members will receive training to complete a variety of tasks. Work training will be tailored to each individual.
